This 848-unit, luxury apartment community in two towers commenced construction in 2008 and was completed in 2010.  These 37- and 41-story buildings are setting the new standard for highly-amenitized apartmentliving in Chicago with an array of amenities in its 36,000 sf amenity center to include a full basketball court, olympic size pool, expansive fitness center, lounge, billiard room, cyber café, party room, business center, fire pit, outdoor cabana seating, a 22-seat luxury home theatre and on-site concierge services.   White Oak principals managed the land acquisition, development capital raising, development programming, asset management, initial lease-up, and marketing of the project.

Echelon at K Station | Chicago, IL

This 39-story, 350-unit luxury apartment property was the first of a 4-tower master planned residential community containing 1,694 apartment residences, a 1.0 acre city park, and a 60,000 sf new Jewel supermarket in the West Loop neighborhood.  White Oak principals were directly responsible for the capital raising, development programming, project marketing and branding, and asset management through lease-up.  The property was capitalized in a joint venture with Pacific Life Insurance Company.  The property broke ground in 2006, delivered in 2008 and reached stabilized occupancy in 2009.

This 37-story, 451-unit luxury apartment building commenced construction in 2005.  Located along the bend in the Chicago River in the West Loop, the property includes high quality condo-level finishes and amenities, spectacular city and river views, and a convenient walk to work location.   White Oak principals were responsible for the capital raising, asset management, and eventual disposition of the property.  The project was capitalized in a joint venture with Prudential and a construction loan from Union Labor Life Insurance Company.  At completion in 2007, the property was sold outright to Prudential, who purchased our partnership interest in the prope

This 28-story, 274 unit luxury apartment property was completed in 2004 and includes a 279 stall parking garage and 7,800 sf of ground level retail space.  The property is located in the popular Fulton River District within a short walking distance of the CBD, two major commuter rail stations, the “EL” and Chicago’s expressway system.  White Oak principals managed the capital raising with equity from Cornerstone and construction financing from Union Labor Life Insurance Company, initial lease-up and eventual sale of the property to Blackrock in 2004.
